Zoe is one of my favourite Youtubers and bloggers, I have followed her for years and I adore watching her cook on her channel. I decided to try my hand at some of her easier, simple and quick snack foods and give it a review on the simplicity, taste, and of course how the finished product turned out!

First things first; the method is super easy to follow; the ingredients list is four things long and it is really a quick snack that’s perfect not only for a summer snack but all year round if you are feeling peckish.
I would adjust the amount of oil used by a LOT, only drizzle as you don’t want your potato slices to drown, and definitely invest in a vegetable slicer as getting the potato as thin as you need by hand without the potato cracking is definitely a difficult task.
It doesn’t say to wash your sweet potato, but I highly recommend giving it a rinse and a little scrub to ensure it is clean before you start cooking - I would also say finding a few smaller potatoes and thinner bodied potatoes would be beneficial.
I had to switch out garlic powder for garlic salt as I did not have any at home – the taste is exactly the same, I personally think the garlic powder would have been too much (I will be honest I was a little heavy handed with mine so maybe use less).
Overall, this was super quick, very straight forward and quite a bit of fun to do on a Monday afternoon. I paired my crisps with a mango and strawberry smoothie, and I enjoyed the afternoon in the sun.
I have linked the recipe and Zoe’s website, YouTube channel and social medias below, so be sure to go and check her content out!
